Pathologists from the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, University of Toronto, Yale University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center have created the diagnostic criteria and algorithm (see below) to standardize the diagnosis of various fallopian tube lesions that may represent the precursor lesions of “ovarian” high-grade serous carcinomas.
